Meze (Mezedes)
Whilst here in Cyprus you must sample the traditional "Meze". A rich collection of about 20 dishes. Starting with salads and dips, then onto meat or fish everything is served on small dishes and it is an excellent way of sampling the local cuisine. You can choose from a meat meze or a fish meze, or even better sample the special meze which includes both meat and fish. You will find that the meze varies in its content from tavern to tavern.
You will find something to suit all the families taste in Cyprus from typical tavemas to Italian, Chinese, Indian, Mexican, McDonalds and even good old fish and chips
